I was in prison and you visited me.
We are a small group of volunteers from Our Lady of the Lake, responding to a call to discipleship from Jesus Christ the Redeemer.
Our Mission is to bridge the spiritual gap for restoration that exists between the inside and the outside world for these men with prudence, dignity, and confidentiality.
What we do:
The support team of volunteers visits the two prisons in Kingman (Cerbat and Huachuca), and also collect and organize the needed resource materials – or spiritual "tools"– an essential part of the jail/prison ministry.
We currently provide:
Celebration of the Mass, twice monthly at each prison, The Word Among Us, Magnificat, Missals, Bibles, Rosaries, Calendars, God's love. We look forward to providing, once again, our yearly Sacramental preparation (RCIA) classes.
What we need for this program to continue:
Catechisms for Adults, Work books for RCIA Program and Prayer Cards. We bring God's love to these inmates; please pray for us in this endeavor.
Should you feel the call to pray with us, please contact the Parish Office and we will put you in contact with one of the group leaders.
Please pray for the effectiveness of this ministry.
